Default Please give me Tips On Using Adbrite

I got banned from adsense on my http://charcoalandpencildrawing.com site so just signed up for adbrite and tried putting an ad on the homepage, but im really unsure if i did it right

it seemed to have so many options and made things seem complicated to me when i was setting an ad up. and now on my site it just reads "advertise on this site, powered by adbrite" and theres no ads displaying.

please give me some tips on how to best use the ads for my site.

after i set up the ad it said something like someone will contact you if they wany to buy the ad and i just didnt know what they were talking about. i dont know why they cant just make it simple like google ads.

I'm sorry that I don't have an answer to your question but if you don't mind me asking you, how did you get banned? I'm applying for adsense soon and want to make sure I go about using the program in the right way

i got banned because they didnt like how i put ads right below the headlines, they saw it as me deliberately trying to lead people to click on ads when i didnt. Just be real careful. google just bans people for nothing these days.

Using Ad brite..

Hmm.. Haven't used them in a while but I think you have to choose what section of ads your site displays..

One thing I do know is if you don't get more than 500-1,000 page views + daily your bound to fail with Ad brite.

Overall it's nice but you really need good traffic to keep it going smooth.

Tips for best Ads on your site
Usually people display up most to 3 ads on their site, after that it looks spammy and unprofessional.

Try making the Ads blend a bit into your site? Graphic Ads also work well.

I'm kind of blind at this time at night so when I visited your page it was hard for me to really know what color it was. But to me it looks like text link ads would work pretty good with a bit of Graphic ads. But I don't know since your site already contains ton of graphics your visitors could get confused and click Ads they didn't intend on clicking then get frustrated because they keep clicking graphic ads instead of images.

Hope this helps and make sense as I'm not the most brightest at 1:15Am

I've noticed that with AdBrite. That's why I have it setup to review ads before they go live. You can take it off auto approve in your account settings.

thanks Lisa, why would you use adbrite when you have adsense?

Also do you only use text ads? i noticed your 2createawebsite site has only text adbrite ads. Should i change mine to only text ads instead of image AND text mode?

why would people say adbrite is only good when you have lots of traffic?
