Default Google slammed my account and won't reply

What is up with this. Im an honest guy and actually never did anything to break the ToA. Either way, i get an email saying that they shut down my adsense account due to invalid clicks..... What the crap is that stuff. I know what invalid clicks are but i never asked anyone to click... I never clicked on them myself.... and i didnt even have any money in my account.... I appealed twice now and its been 3 weeks and still no reply..... Will they send me an email if i have been denied appeal.. Is there any chance of getting it back.... I almost beg to them. Im kinda upset at this because it is a great form of monetization and i got screwed when i didnt even do anything. What to do what to do.. I already use adbrite and chitika so yeah, i know about those.. But man google, WHY ME . Any help and comfort would be nice.

I've been hearing about this happening a LOT with new accounts lately. Google must really be cracking down and monitoring new accounts like crazy. They must've seen something that looked suspicious. So sorry to hear that, cliffman. One thing I can tell you is my friend got banned and she did get invited back (without appealing). But it was a couple of years later.

In the meantime you can look into AdBrite, Kontera, and Infolinks just to name a few. Hopefully you'll get back in at some point.

I wish I knew. But you are not the first I've heard to have to wait on an answer. I would imagine they have a ton of appeals to wade through.

yeah it sucks. There isnt much you can do i dont think except ask for it to be reviewed. They have a form for that and i have filled it out.. Now it's just a waiting game. I hate waiting games. Exspecially when it has to do with income lol

I was reading similar complaints from people at the Google Adsense site. I wonder what's going on? I'd like to know because I just signed up with them, and I'd hate to be cut off before I get started.

I'll just tell everyone.... If you sign up for them, make sure your site has good content. They frown on half done sites. Make sure it's quality. Also, if you forsee yourself getting some decent traffic in the near future, be sure to email them stating your account and pub-# and state that you expect an increase in your traffic so they know that you advertised or something so that if you get clicks they know you didnt ask a whole bunch of ppl to click. Just be cautious. If you follow the rules, and do what i said, you should be fine

I have heard of a few people's account getting closed by Google. I'm sure they use a pretty complex set of rules to determine if an account should be shutdown, and I'm hoping you weren't click-bombed by some idiot. I figured Google would be able to tell those.

Anyway, as Lisa mentioned, there are alternatives to Google Adsense that you can use while you investigate the problem. In addition to Lisa's list, you can also try YPN and Chitika.

I happended to me as well. They should reply but Google's support is really bad. I hope they accept your appeal.

A bit of topic, some idiot from this forum (I won't name names) added me on msn and asked if I would click his ads. I said don't be silly and then he said "fine im going to click on your ads allot and get you banned. It's people like this that make Google ban accounts at any risk. I don't understand why Google don't just ignore those sort of clicks that's what many other PPC programs do...

I dont know if i was click-bombed or not. But yeah, i know right, google rakes in like 30 billion dollars a year, i think they could afford to update their system to where it does ignore those clicks from the same ip if they are rapid clicks. But you know, its at their discretion of what to do i guess. BUT, i think they should revise their policy on banning. I dont think it should be banned for the rest of your life lol. Thats capital web punishment. A little extreme. But yeah, im still waiting, they said they was reviewing. But i still havnt heard anything from them. We will see. How does adbrite payout for ppc? annyone know if the pay is decent?

Honestly, I've herad that Adbrite doesn't pay nearly as well as Adsense, but hey, it's better than nothing right?

Im a big fan of AdBrite! They can pay you every $5 at the lowest, im due a check for $25 on August 3rd. The cons are:

- Low income per click compared to AdSense
- Bad ad relevency depending on your niche. I haven't found 1 advert related to skateboarding since using them.

Pros

- Good because they are used less not so many people know they are ads like Google AdSense.
- I think it's as good as impossible to get banned by AdBrite
- They accept every website (I think)
- The opertunity to sell advertising space for any price is amazing.
