adsense impression is much lower compared to page viewed?

I start to notice that my page view is much more higher compared (data from my cpanel) to adsense impression (data from adsense) ? The impression is so low sometimes for 50 paged viewed, only shows 10 impression?

Why is this? I don't see any page loading errors or mistakes in adsense code in my site. What is the relationship between page view and impression? Are they suppose to be one page view = one page impression?

Everyone has that problem. I have a blog and the blog is saying the hits is 10x more then what adsense say. Googles idea of hits where there is money involved is different then stat software. But there isnt any point in arguing it with them.

Its not a problem persay.

There is going to be a percentage of your visitors using an Ad Blocker or have javascript disabled on their browser. So when these guys hit your site, they don't see the Google Ads.

Then you have the happy clickers hitting the site. These are the ones who bounce through and click on the first thing they see and its usually done before the whole page loads, including the adsense.

Another consideration is that there isn't enough advertisers in the ads pool for the publisher. When this happens you'll get less adverts showing on a page.
