Default Adsence V Adbrite (for example)

Hello,

I just wondered what everyone thinks about Adsence alternatives.

I came up with these up and down points but as I am new to this I have no data yet.

Adsence:

Obviously well known! but I am in constant fear already about the "smart pricing" thing. Also, Adsence units are quite common now, do you not think people are coming amune to them? personaly I am

Adbrite:

They do not (correct me if wrong) have the "advert by xxx" business, they also let you do custom code (better blending)

So what do you think?

I am about to sign up for Adbrite (I have adsence already) and pop them both on and see what happens. Like I say I have no data myself as im very new to this so wondered if anyone had any experiances to share.

Cheers

I do think people are becoming more aware of the ads and ignore them. My CTR for flat stomach used to hover around and 6-7% years ago but has dropped significantly in the last couple of years. So immunity is probably a big part of that.

I only use AdBrite to manage a few flat rate ads on my site, but I did use their contextual ads for a short time and it worked OK. They don't seem to pay as much as AdSense, but I do like that you can approve or reject ads before they show on your pages.

We in Serbia if don't using Adsense we use Vizioshop affiliate program. That is a affiliate program that put them tshorts on your site and you will get 10% of each "stuff" solded. If you have warez forum (so you can't use adsense) you use this affiliate and you can earn about 300$ per month if is summer outside and if you have alexa rank something about 300k. If there is something about that in USA you can use it and this is a time for something like that

Otherwise for English sites i think that Bidvertizer is the best

I guess one way to look at it is if people are more "immune" then they will click less, and that could mean.. that people will pay more the times they do get a click but, google should really come up with a new looking advert template.

I have only had a few clicks so far from $0.03 to $0.50 a pop, I hope I do not get many 0.03's!

One thing, since adsense is more popular, there are some forums which offer adsense revenue share on the threads you start. Might be a reason to choose it over alternatives.

The adsense revenue sharing is a great way to bring people to forums, but I unfortunately never get money from that kind of program.
