I don't think too much of Google....of course that comes from a personal experience.
I had developed a site about mesothelioma. I will say that I developed it solely to earn money. It had good content. mesothelioma can earn very high dollars for clicks.
The site was live for about a month. I was then starting to make $2-3 dollars a day easily and within about 20 days more was within a couple dollars of their payout amount of $100.
THEN...Google booted me. They said I was getting too many click throughs on my site and I violated their TOS!! I was like totally confused and emailed them for a clarification. The best they could say is that I was getting too many clicks that I shouldn't or couldn't possibly be getting. So they suspended my account. After a couple of appeals, they have banned me for life!! YES..for life. They basically said we don't want you back, and please don't contact us again!! I worked in retail for over 20 years and never treated any client, or had anyone treat me so poorly!! Of course they are God and you cannot argue with them. I just wanted some proof of what the were claiming and they would not supply that. Funny too that my account was at $98. They said they would return that money to their sponsors.
Goodbye Adsense. So unfortunately I do not have that tool in my affiliate arsenal. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them??
I followed all the rules to the best of my knowledge. I DID NOT click on my own links, nor did I belong to any web rings etc. Don't know what went wrong. Sick about it. I tried Adbrite and a handful of others, but have made very little. Took the site down after that. Will probably make more money (if any) selling the dot name.
