Amazon - Omakase links

I was wondering if anyone is using the Amazon contextual Omakase links and if anyone can recommend using them.

I discovered Amazon Omakase links today and decided to load a few up on my site. Subsequent to that, I decided to look for forum posts to see what's the word on them. Your post(April 2009) was the only one I found on Website Babble with no replies so far.

Oh well ...
I'll try to post any results I get in a couple of weeks.

OK. Omakase Test Over ...

I found the Omakase links went much too broad in interpretation of my Site Content.
Many items picked for display were only remotely related to my pages.

I decided to go with the Amazon "Recommended Product Links" Widget instead.
It allows you to supply keywords and get a more "Targeted" focus on your topics.

Omakase may be fine for some niches. But, it just wasn't happening with mine.
