Default jus a few questions from a teen about tax

hey guys, well, ive set up a website a while ago, and another in on the way with SBI, but i have yet to put adsense ads on them. but now that im considering it, a few quesitons jump out.

as Lisa mentioned on 2planawebsite.com , tax is mandatory on all earnings. well i live in Australia and i was checking out the Google adsense page on tax, and it goes that if my business is "non us" than i dont have to pay taxes in the usa. well problems here. first of all, im 15 years old, so i cant have my own adsense acc. my dad has to do that part. now, i lived in the usa for like 7 years, and have a social securty number thingi and all that stuff, but no bank acc. if the checks go to my dads bank acc in australia, he ends up paying 48 cents in the dollar for tax...that kinda sux...

now if say our family friends in america recive the cheques and deposit them in my dads account(american account). he would save some tax...becuse taxes in the states are a bit lower, plus he has no income in the states at the moment.

first of all, what is the ammount of money exempt from tax in america, in australia its the first 5000...

secondly, is there any information i dont know right know that can be seen from what ive written. any obvious "holes"

thanks in advance

I think if you make under $4,000 for the year then you're exempt but don't quote me on that. You can always go to irs.gov to make sure but seems like it was something like that.

Default Tax issue

I believe Lisa's response was right on target...Go to irs.gov on the web...they will give you the correct answer and/or "point you in the right direction"...good luck to you...William Wilson
