Default I'm addicted to checking my Google Adsense Clicks

Lately I have become addicted to checking my Adsense clicks. It's getting ridiculous. I'm getting more clicks now than ever due to this forum. When I apply something that I learned here at Website Babble, I find myself going to my Adsense page to see if I got any new clicks. Has anyone gone through this stage?

I feel better about this question as I am watching a video by Pat Flynn and he said he would check his Adsense stats every hour. So at least I know I am not alone.

I'm that way with Google Analytics. My site traffic has steadily been increasing since my site went viral back in April. The only lull I've seen was Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but ever since then I seem to have reached a new plateau. Today was especially exciting because I reached an all-time high for natural traffic.

I like looking at my Analytics data as well. I have friends that do not pay much attention to it but how am I supposed to know what is working and what is not if I don't look at the data?

I think that most everyone probably checks out their stats whether it‘s for Google Adwords, Google Analytics or any other type of information that tells you how your site is doing, although some probably wouldn’t admit it.

I also check out my Google Analytics every day to see how much traffic I am getting to my site, which source it is coming from, how much time is spent on my site, ect. Like Web4Food said, “how am I supposed to know what is working and what is not if I don't look at the data?”

I definitely am a AdSense refresher. I always have my AdSense and Analytics pages open in a Firefox tab. On average once an hour I will refresh. One of the first things i do in the morning is I refesh my AdSense page and see how much I made while sleeping. What I will do is see the time I last refreshed the page, take note of how much for the day so far, then refresh, and can see how much earned in that time period, and will roughly calculate in my head how much I am making in an hour, or even per minute.

Not sure if is has been on the Analytics page for long, but I found on that page where it shows in real time graphs on how many page views per minute, and even per second. I and my team post on average 30 posts to a blog, and I can see within seconds (well, maybe 15-30) how many people are reading it. I have over 3,000 twitter followers, and can see the jump after we twitter a message.

My site is very busy, so it is great when I see the results.

As a side note, I had new records 3 days last week for page views, it just blows me away.

I have made a lot of changes to my Adsense layouts lately and my earnings are increasing so I guess that makes it more enticing for me to view my Adsense earnings.

I only check mine once a day, twice maximum as £0.00 is still £0.00

I check my AdSense a few times a day, but not as much as I used to. Like others, I also check by Analytics stats more times per day just to keep an eye on a traffic changes, and try to figure out why there are traffic changes.

I also find the Google Analytics real-time stats interesting.

You are not getting any clicks? I thought you had some well placed ads on your site.

I used to check my Adsense earnings a few times a day, but not anymore. Now, at most, I may check it twice a day, most likely once.
