Question I Am Worried. How Many Sites Do I Need To Generate Enough Adsense Income?

How can one make enough income from adsense the way it trickles. How can it be improved? Do I need more sites as in the game of numbers? What about if I want to go by one site? Fellow members, I need U here.

Default Difficult question, or at least it appears so!

Hopefully you will get some good response from some of those with lots of adsense experience. I don't like to answer questions that go too far beyond my personal experience, but I can tell you a little.

Most people may be hesitant to answer primarily because there is no real answer. There are people who make what some would consider a living off adsense on one site (from what I hear some say). Many people, even with considerable traffic, find it difficult to make much at all.

There are numerous issues involved. A lot depends on how you manage your account—ad positioning and the like. Even more depends on the content of your site and the ads that would appear there. Many pay a few cents. Some pay several dollars.

Then a lot depends on your own personal skills. Are you better at designing sites or on building traffic? Some would get further ahead building several sites. Others would get further ahead multiplying traffic to a single existing site. Everyone has different abilities.

Personally, I would offer two recommendations (based on my business thinking, not adsense in particular):

    1. If you decide that you do indeed want to use adsense to generate income, take time to learn the basics by trying it and experimenting with it a bit. Figure out your own best approach for making it profitable. If you can do it on a small scale all you have to do is increase what you are doing to make more. Project what you can do not what others do (or only claim to do in some cases).

    2. To use an old and easily understood saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." Adsense is only one way to make money. There are some members who do state that they have been dropped from adsense for no reason they understand or consider fair. If you depend on adsense as your only income and get dropped, whether fair or not, you are ruined.
    Good Success!

It not depends on the number of site it depends on the traffic you are getting on a site and its niche. There is high paying keywords on adsense which can give you high income even it's one site only and if you have lots of traffic on that site. Health niche and mortgage topics has high paying keywords I think.

I'm new to most of this but im using kontera and affiliates and it doesn't seem to be doing that bad of course I have alot of work to do with my site. I would say start off with one site try and drive as much traffic to your site and see if that is a descent about of income and if not try with another. Then go from there

well if you can get a lot of traffic aday to that one site then you should be ok but it better to have a lot of context on the 1 site and you can do backlinks the more visitor per day you get the more you can make off of adsence

I believe in the numbers. As as soon as I see any of my websites in a niche doing good, I make more of them. That's the only way I can make enough from adsense.

its really hard to get lots of earnings by just google adsense alone. You need to know most of the techniques in order to drive more traffix to your site at the same time more clicks on your adsense.

I would say it's better to have about 10 websites, and then focus on the half dozen which work the best.
It's not good to have all our eggs in the same basket in case something happens to the main earner website (happened to me in mid 2008, I've learned my lesson)
