Question Is Making Too much $ w/ Adsense BAD?

I have always debated this topic.

Just had a high Adsense day and was excited but I started thinking about it because I had no affiliate sales....

If your primary income from a website comes from adsense, does that mean you're losing out big time on affiliate sales?

i.e. if someone clicks on your ad you get paid $1 and they buy a $500 product on the site they click to...

theres no hard and fast answer really.. Some sites do better with adsense, others do better with a affiliate programs. Some do well with a combination of both. The only way to find out is to keep testing.

This is interesting, I have read a few things about this. Some people don't use AdSense at all on their sites because it's an easy exit and if it wasn't there then maybe the visitor who clicked on AdSense would have bought a affiliate product, signed up for your newsletter, signed up on your forum, book marked your site instead of clicking an advert and never coming back.

You should certainly experiment without AdSense and see how it works for you.
