I have a very good friend who lives in this country named "Bangladesh".He is a webmaster in profession and is a very skilled worker too.But the problem is,Paypal is not available in Bangladesh so it really makes a big trouble for webmasters living there cause as they have no paypal so they don't get much work or earn as per individual potentials,so they have to rely for receiving their payments they get by doing works at freelance sites on different methods like payoneer debit cards or GAF debit cards etc.

I have also heard that paypal considers Bangladesh as a poor nation with lots of illiterate citizens,so how can a service like paypal be given to a country which has no worth?I might be wrong but is that true?Does paypal really think like that.

So my question is,does anybody know when will paypal come to Bangladesh or is there any chance in the near future of paypal enlisting Bangladesh in their country list and providing its service in this developing country?

this is not true. payapl doesn't think like that. do u know paypal proposed to bd government coz lots of bangladeshi webmaster continuously asking them to start their service in here.

but the truth is our goverment declined

so having said that paypal will not propose again until gov. eager to propose them back. it's a bit insult for paypal.

we have community called we need paypal but unfortunately after this happened... we really frustrated. personally i don't have prob coz most of my relatives live in usa,canada,uk and aus. they have paypal account and i transfered money to their account.

but i am seeing webmaster who are really talented but don't have this opportunity really get frustrated.

I am Also a Bandeshi. And @KRH point out the main thing. Basically it the problem from our GOV. Since PayPal is Business organization and they are doing business and In Bangladesh there are Lot IT People and Webmaster so if PayPal Exists in Bangladesh then It was better for them. So, I do not think so, PayPal do not want to doing business in Bangladesh. Our Gov. allow receive money from Outside of country but not sending money from Bangladesh. Since PayPal has Both Send and receive option so, It is not acceptable. Though moneybookers covering this area. So, lets hope when we get rid from this problem.
