However, what you are describing could be done. It sounds like you are describing the kind of product that would be available on Clickbank (
http://www.clickbank.com).
In order to succeed with this type of product, you would have to:
1) create a separate website to pre-sell that product (Lisa described this in detail).
or 2) you would hope that affiliates at Clickbank would find your product intriguing and would start promoting the product for you. But in this case, you would have to sign up as a merchant with Clickbank (only $50) and you would split your commission with the affiliate. You determine how the commission is split.
My vote is to stick to what Lisa recommended.
