To me your-camping-guidebook covers all aspects of camping so you shouldn't have any problems with your site concept keyword being camping tips. Use it as a keyword and you will still rank with it.
I would register the hyphenated version with SBI and use YourCampingGuideBook in all of your off site marketing.
