I just wanted to mention a site I came across,
AboutUs.org. It is a wiki site with a search engine that will create a new wiki page when people search for a particular domain name on their site.
If your site has a top level domain (ie, not somesite.blogspot.com, which is a subdomain) then AboutUs.org can provide a nice link back to your site. Just create an account, do a search for your domain and a page will be created in short order for you to create an "about us" article.
Who knows, your site may already have a page there, just waiting for you to develop. I noticed Website Babble already has a page.
