Default Need Tutorial Content Ideas

I'm thinking of adding a tutorial section to my website for people trying to design their own websites. I'm doing this for two reasons:

1) To help people who get as frustrated as I did when first starting out. I know how it feels. I've never had any formal training with computers, my degree is in physics. (Yup, I'm weird ) Everything I've learned is from trial and error (a lot of it!) So I enjoy helping people alleviate that frustration when I can.
2) Well,..to drive traffic, why else?

Those two reasons are, however, in the correct order.

So, long winded as I am, I have two questions I would like your opinions on:

Would the best way to do this be a blog, forum, or simple webpage format? Which would be more user-friendly and accessible in your opinion?

What types of tutorials would you like to see on there? More basic overview type of subjects (i.e. general css), specific topics (i.e. password protection scripts) or a mixture of them all?

Look forward to your replies. Thanks.
