Agreed. I've noticed a lot of these companies use titles such as "Get paid to do XYZ" and as Sherif said, they don't necessarily pay you, they teach you how to write your own ads and then you get paid when people buy something from your site.

So in essence you have to learn how to build a website with traffic, etc. And if that's the case you might as well build your own site from scratch and make money from affiliate programs like you're already doing with your blog.

When I first got started in 1998, I joined a company that advertised you "Earn $14.95 for every email." It wasn't that I got paid for sending email but I got paid for every person I signed up for the MLM program, but I had to learn how to generate traffic, market, etc.

Words can be so tricky with advertising. As Sherif said, proceed with caution. Also, here's my thinking. If someone really did pay you for writing descriptions and ads wouldn't we hear more about these program and wouldn't you know people who are making money from that? Just think... they would catch on like crazy.
