It is hard to imagine a better set of qualifications for finding a good life in this business. From your initial comments I am sure you will be more satisfied with your life when you learn to be on your own. I know I cannot even imagine being any other way. In a world that encourages me to be more cynical every day I get myself to look up by observing folks like you.

You may indeed have to work at another "job" while you are getting established but don't let that deter you because once you have an adequate start every step builds on the other. Study Lisa's stuff. It is great. Notice how she majors on content and marketing. There are only two things any successful business person must be able to do for themselves, manage and market. You can farm everything else out if you choose, but never those.
