Websitepalace is my reseller store that I earn commissions from so of course I'm a bit biased.
That's why I offer so many freebies (free templates, ebook software, etc.) because I know I'm priced above the market. But my referral commissions are so good right now it doesn't quite make business sense for me to lower them that far just yet. It's complicated but I have to keep it that way for now.
GoDaddy.com is much cheaper and they are very reputable so it's perfectly fine to register there. Any registrar is going to give you the same benefits in terms of domain registrations. I think NameCheap.com might even be better than GoDaddy from what I've heard on the forum.
