Hey there,

Sure, a squeeze page is simple page that has the sole purpose of collecting an email address. A lot of people use them with pay per click advertising in an attempt to get more for their advertising dollar.

Say for example you are advertising a book on Internet Marketing in Google AdWords and you bid on the keyword "internet marketing". Your squeeze page would be an enticing benefit-rich page that encourages the user to give up their email address.

Why do this? Because most people do not buy on the first exposure. So you offer them something free (a free report, etc.) in exchange for their email address, you can continue to market the product you are attempting to sell by following up via email.

If you don't use a squeeze page and the person doesn't buy, you could lose a potential customer forever, but if you can at least use a squeeze page to collect the email address, you can market to them later.
