I think linking to them wouldn't be harmful to human visitors especially as you've completely trashed that's sites credibility, if you express an honest opinion of that website then people will listen to you perhaps visit that guys site and leave = no returning visitors.

However search engines will pick it up as an inbound link but i doubt that will effect the sites page rank or anything drastically.
