Yeah, I know that expression probably dates me, but it makes a good point.
Since you describe what you want to do rather than the services you will need I thought I might just remind you of a basic principle. It is of primaty importance in planning to determine what you need first, then look for services.
In this case you want to figure out what programs you will use. The reference to php and MySQL above is a good example. Different hosts provide support for different programs. You don't really want to sign up for hosting with one provider only to find out later you have to move in order to do what you want to do. That can be expensive as well as inconvenient.
