I also use and like Aweber. Perhaps other services do as well but I can certainly recommend them for an excellent service, well designed and supported.

The reasons for using a service like this are many. First, it automatically collects and organizes your leads by the categories you set up. Wow does that save time! Perhaps most important it keeps you out of trouble (protects you from being blackballed for spamming) by automatically sending a confirmation letter to anyone who signs up and requiring a click back confirmation. Also, Aweber runs the Spam Assassination program on your email, then gives you a feed back with a list of all the problems in your email that cause problems. The words at issue are highlighted so you can make changes to avoid being blocked. Then you can recheck. Also, you have a full record of each address showing deliveries and even information about opened mail, etc.

About $15 a month may seem like a lot to some, but I think that is a real bargain when you think of all the really necessary work they do for you.
