Domain names are somewhat important in SEO, but ultimately it's going to come down to your content and inbound links from other sites.

Also remember that you can still capitalize on BOTH keyword searches through your tier 2 and tier 3 pages so just because you choose the plural version of the word for your domain name, doesn't mean you won't get traffic from the singular.

So to be completely honest, I really don't think it's going to matter that much at the end of the day. A lot of people worry that it's the end all be all with the choice of the domain name. And years ago it was a much bigger factor in how you show up in search results. But these days content and inbound links rule.

Now, here's my question. Keep in mind Brainstorm It! has changed a lot since I created my site in 2005 and I don't use it much anymore so forgive me if this is a crazy question. But when I built my site, the recommendation was to look for keywords with a demand of at least 2500 or something like that. My concern is that both your supply and demand may be very small. What were the recommendations that Ken gave for the demand numbers in the Action Guide? Maybe they've changed.
