That should help with labels.
Labels=TAGS and for you label=CATEGORY. I think you should go to the TEMPLATE and ADD the labels thingy for them to show. You get there from you dashboard--layout or if you select edit post you will see a tab at the top--TEMPLATE.
Once at the template/layout select "add page element"...labels are half-way down.
Also I saw something on the blog so I grabbed the source...

You can get rid of the bolded part because it shows on the blog but it doesn't link to anything. The
<A HREF...around the image is all you need.
