But you do not advertise the affiliate program, just the product?
I do not know if your affiliate id for the product would be carried over to the sub-affiliate/tier 2 program. I would assume this would be the case, but I would specifically check on that, because it may vary based on the program.

No. They would have to specifically sign up as an affiliate.

Well, I think the best approach to monetize this is to create a website that is targeted to affiliate marketers... so you would review different affiliate programs (that may or may not have a tier 2/subaffiliate program). Now, I am cringing a little when I say this, because I would not recommend starting out on a website that is targeted to affiliate marketers... this market is hugely competitive and fierce!
