Im afraid there is a problem with this, there is no such thing as unlimited.

Let me explain, when a website says they offer unlimited of anything they always have the rules in there terms of service. For example HostGator say they offer 'unlimited' space/ transfer but in there terms of service they explain the catch. You cannot use more than 25% of the server or you risk getting banned. They also have a rule of no more than 250,000 inodes (1 inode = 1 file). It's impossible to get away with anything over 5GB with a site offering unlimited (varies from host to host)

There may come a time when we need to delete a file or two from your account. Lets say you have 500 backup files and you keep insisting on eating up all the space on your server, or an errant process writes a humongous log file. We can't allow one client to deprive all their server'mates from having service so will have to remove at least some of your files to make room. Generally it's a "you should have known better" situation and it almost never ever ever ever happens.
That's what I found in their terms, I certainly wouldn't want anyone to delete any files from my server.

Im afraid the whole 'unlimited' thing is a sales gimmick although it doesn't always mean they are bad companies. Although nothing is unlimited some of these hosts still offer allot of space.

Because you are looking at a image hosting site you will need allot of space once it gets going. Some hosts will not allow this type of site on shared hosting to start with.

EDIT: Yes you would be able to display Google ads as long as they accept you to the program.
