Hi, new here,there are some doubts I would like to clarify regarding domains and web hosts.

1) If I buy a domain, is there a need for a webhost if I only plan to post a few articles here and there? Do domains have any bandwidth?

2) how much is the price for webhosting usually?i know that domains go for around 10dollar a year, but webhosting goes for 3-4$/month from what I've read..that's quite a lot for somebody thats starting out?

3) how do these webhosts work? is it possible if i buy a server outside for a hundred plus and then host it on the server itself?
