What type of phone and features are you looking for (PDA, camera, all the bells and whistles, plain jane..etc??) How often do you use your phone? Is it mostly at home? Does it take the place of your house phone? do you travel a lot? overseas?

I don't actually dislike AT&T, except for an incident with a phone problem and them wanting to charge a small fortune for a new one since I was in month 17 of a 24 month contract. I was able to solve that by purchasing a pre-paid phone and switching my sim card for the pre-paid one.
I thought of changing after seeing a T-mobile commercial where they offered 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited weekend/nite minutes for $10 more than my Cingular plan that gave 450 rollover anytime and 5000 weekend/nites.
When I got the cingular plan I was using less than 300 anytimes a month and building rollover. A few months ago I went up to around 1000. I use my cell for USA long distance, some at home and some while out. When my rollover minutes run out if I use my current plan as I have been it will probably cost me a fortune on overtime minutes.
So there it is. What would you advise?
Thanks,
Hubert
