Another quick question... what are the hidden costs for any optional services provided by SBI when you use it to build your website? There's got to be something that isn't included in the annual $299 a month.
Also, are there any contracts with the service? Can you quit when you want... and how does that work? Many questions, but I just don't want to be tied down to something that I would regret later.

There are no extra charges for SE HQ, PPC HQ and Traffic stats. The only 2 other optional charges would be for Store Build It! if you wanted to sell products. There's one flat fee for the software and then a monthly fee for maintenance (the fee depends on the package)
And there's a new feature called "Content 2.0" which allows your visitors to add content to your site. Great option if you're asking for feedback. It's an extra $99/yr if you want that. I have not bought either add-ons and only pay the $299/year.
