Forums can be great for a social aspect to your site. Not every forum has to be used just as a help section. I use mine on coseo designs for support. Not that I want to help everyone with every aspect but I can write a quick how to and be done with it with out having to actually build a new page. To me that is a great time saver. In away it acts like a blog for me since it is indexed by the top 4 search engines and a few of the smaller ones. Once I go live and actually start pushing the site things on it may change. But I am hoping to have enough info on it to where there will not be many questions.
