I don't do anything under a business name. I do it all under my name and just use a Schedule C for taxes. You can apply for a Tax ID or use your SSN, it's up to you.
SBI! gives you the training and tools but what's probably the best value is the process. There is a LOT of reading but it's so important you understand you can't start a site by selling products. You have to attract your audience through information and SBI! is excellent at teaching the importance of this while providing you with the building tools too.
