Gavin you made good points.

Keep updating you site with new content. Keep all your outbound links highly relevant to your topic and if you use any affiliate links use nofollow on them.
I need to put the no follow attribute on my referral hyperlinks tags.

I would also start browsing around PHP blogs and people who blog about scripting. Keep up with their posts and make comments every couple of days. When the bloggers get to know you and your site they'll probably end up linking to you from a blog post.
I've made two link exchange with HTML tutorial related sites. These might not be relevant in bound.

I've started submitting my pages to PHP related sites. Two good sites are php.resourceindex.com and www.goodphptutorials.com and i'm looking for more high ranking php tutorial sites like these. I gonna also start looking into PHP related blogs as well.

You making anything from those Auction Ads? I would have personally have gone for advertising PHP tutorial books etc - keeping it 100% relevant. Try using Amazon's affiliate program too.
I wanted to try auction ads with games/electronic related ads because i thought people coming to my site are most probably into the that king of stuff as well (well who isn't...lol). But its not performing well either. I have had it for 2-3 weeks now.

I signed up with amazon and will replace auctions ads with PHP books which is better because i'm gonna write reviews on the books which might increase my CTR.

for my flat stomach site I promoted it like crazy the first 3-6 months and the traffic stayed steady for a while. Throughout the year it sloooooowly gained in traffic. Then all of a sudden in January of 2007 Google decided they liked the site and the traffic tripled instantly. Just keep doing what you do and in time your traffic will develop.
After reading that i feel a bit optimistic

What i'm noticing is that google will give me search engine traffic as soon as it find a new inbound link to one of my pages. For 2-3 days it will send me traffic and the traffic will start to go down after that. Then i would submit the same link to another high rank tutorial site. Google will notice that inbound link and start send me traffic again. Like Gavin said its pretty much a cycle.

So, to keep maintaining traffic, i need to keep finding new sites and keep submitting my links. It's like i'm playing catch with google...lol

I wasn't sure if i would have to keep doing this to keep bringing traffic.
