You are destined for success, no doubt about it. I've been working on one site for over a year now (albeit not a lot of hours to apply to it) with almost everything in the same form (content with little in the way of images or anything else). I spent over three years once, nearly full time, developing a business before going after my first client. It paid to do first things first and stay focused on priorities then and it will now.
You do have to know what you are doing and why. In the case of web sites "content is king." (chiche but true) If your content is good, and from your posts I have confidence they are, you are doing exactly what will pay off most in the long run.
