The reason why your footer is placed at the top is because all of your elements are positioned absolutely, which takes them out of the normal flow of your website. Normally, you wouldn't want to absolutely position everything like that. As much as I hate to say it, you should probably go back and revisit your CSS. When starting out with CSS it can be easy to rely on absolute positioning too much, but it often means a lot of problems.
