Agree Lisa.

Think about your 70 year old grandmother who has never heard of affiliate marketing going to Google.com and searching "needlepoint" and while she's reading a needlepoint website she sees a related Adsense ad next to the text she's reading. If she doesn't know about AdSense, she is likely to click on the ad because she believes it's part of the site or has some information related to what she's searching for.

It's easy for us to think that people know about AdSense 'cause we're in it to make money and we're wrapped up into this affiliate thing. But I bet many of your friends and family never knew what those ads were. I've pointed out ads to many of my friends and they were floored to know people were getting paid to display those ads.
