One of the reasons to work from home, save a bit of money by cutting down on travel by car to work. Not to mention not wanting to go there in the first place.
That money is needed for the high price of food and the heat those of us that live in the cold areas of the country are going to have to put up with this winter. Hopefully it won't be that cold this year.
I usually get one cord of wood and it will last a winter season plus into the summer. However because electricity has gone up and I won't be using it much (I have electric heat) this year I know I'm going to be burning more wood then usual (unless we are blessed with a mild winter) so I'm going to purchase two cords of wood, put a metal backing in my fireplace and put plastic on my windows.
It's as if were going back to horse and buggy. Heck, I always wanted a horse.
