People will want to come back to your blog just to see your progress.
Just make sure that you define what keywords you want to be found with when creating your sites. That will help you shape them. For example with your Toronto photo site, what kind of traffic are you going to be after? People visiting Toronto? Other digital photography students? I wasn't quite sure based on your explanation. Remember, search engine traffic is free and very targeted so make sure you define what kind of traffic you want to generate. That's one of those ideas where it sounds like a cool idea for you as a lover of photography, but just remember to turn it around to make it useful for others.

The questions you've raised concerning my second project are valid and I'm going to need to reevaluate what my target audience is. I have tons of questions when it comes to defining keywords etc. but I want to actually get something on paper in terms of my planning before I move to that stage. I think I'm going to focus 65% of my time to my first project and the rest of the time on improving my Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS. I’ll leave the second project in queue until further notice
