I did publish some articles on ezine that I got some short term traffic but no one clicked the adsense ads. I have also been posting some comments on some of the weight lost forums and have submitted my site to dmoz but so far haven't seen it show up in the directory. Just trying to figure out what I am doing wrong or am I expecting too much too soon. Also wondering if I picked too broad of a topic. I got a lot of interest in my article on Exercise for those who don't want to exercise. Would it be better to focus on that area alone? It sure would be a smaller site but maybe I will get more traffic because I will have less competition. The other thing I can't figure out is why when I google my articles show up in ezine but my site doesn't show up which has the same articles but I guess that has to do with the rating game. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom http://loseweight-my-story.com
Hi Tom,

The idea is good. The site does have potential, it has a lot of information to offer for those who are interested in such things.

You need to do some adjustment on the site layout, the font and the colours. Make your site more colorful, to draw attention.

Use the same font in the same sections, try to make the section to have the same aspect.

Try to create a weekly newsletter for example, where you regularly send some useful information, such as "tip of the week", or weight loss product or method of the week, etc. This would attract more visitors to your site, plus you would have a growing group of people who would come back to site on a regular base.

Success and keep up the good work.
