Default A couple of suggestions—

Tom

Here are a couple of things I think could really help your site.

First, your layout needs a little work. Look on this page at your question and Lajocar's answer. Don't read, just look at the appearance. Notice how his writing is broken up with what is called "white space" instead of being just one big "gray" area. Your whole page is made up of all really long, solid paragraphs. It would read a lot better if broken up with subtitles, some shorter paragraphs, and some topics converted to lists.

Second, think about how what you are saying meets the interest of people who come to the site. I would rewrite a little and even tone down your doctor's incident (at least for the front page theme). In the same way I would not even refer to the particular diet program names unless I first justified why those particular ones. It is an invitation for visitors to go off to their sites right off.

Why? They may be attracted by the fact that you lost the weight. Then they want to find out how you did it. And they want to hear that you may have insight that they wouldn't find elsewhere. Better to say, "When I realized that I needed to lose some serious weight I searched for a way to do it that worked, and I found it. Let me tell you what I did to lose 20 pounds in the first month and another 20 in the next few weeks."

If they think you were so freighted by the doctor's comments that you were super motivated or that you just followed a commonly available diet to lose some weight they may not choose to stay with you long.

Just my thoughts, but I think they have some merit.
