Getting someone to fork over $300 for a web site is tough so you need mounds of credibility. Your About Me page is pretty good. It's not overly sales pitchy but if I'm a visitor and read that page, it does make me wonder if you really own it. Lots of general statements about how good SBI! is but no proof it works for you.

Very interesting Lisa. The problem is that I don't have an SBI site myself. So the proof will be if it works for me.

Back to your original question. It took me several months to get my first sale. I started out selling the ebooks and those led to a few sales. But when I bought SBI! and displayed my story is when sales went through the roof.

Wow, months to get a sale is a long time. I am only really promoting SBI heavily since this week. Will try to improvise and do some further research about product.

I know from talking to Ken that almost all the top SBI! affiliates own SBI!. Many of them do case studies to their readers about their own sites. Which makes sense because it helps build credibility when you can specifically say "Here's my story."

I will definitely have to get SBI sometime down the line, but for now I will try to make some sales without owning it.
