Nobody here is wrong per se. We're talking about two different business models.

The multiple sites approach is a different animal than the SBI approach.

I decided to focus exclusively on SBI sites because they autosubmit to the search engines, they offer separate keyword research tools for each site, because they have the hands-down best support team I've come across online (because I've needed that), and because I'd rather focus on building a site than fighting with the CPanel features or learning HTML.

It's also a different way to deal with your readers.

Mini-sites have a different feel than the typical SBI site. I have one site that has over 200 pages. Different model than the multiple mini-site method.

It just depends on what you want to do, and how you want to do it.
