The main problem I see with these templates is that they don't utilize CSS (as some people mentioned later in the thread.) I'd suggest pursuing a CSS layout. It definitely allows the web search engines to much easier assess what your site is about, leading to higher rankings. Biggest added bonus is that design changes end up being a lot easier too.
